American forward Kevin Labanc is set to depart Shanghai during the offseason, as reported by Sport-Express.
Salavat Yulaev has emerged as the primary contender for the 30-year-old forward, while Minsk Dynamo has also expressed interest in acquiring his services.
In the past Fonbet KHL Championship season, Labanc tallied 34 points (15 goals and 19 assists) across 55 games. His contract with Shanghai runs until May 31, 2026.
Labanc previously played in the NHL for the Columbus Blue Jackets and San Jose Sharks.
