The trio recreated one of last season’s most iconic images from the league title celebrations, when Iñigo Martínez joined a bicycle excursion through the city to visit the recovering Ferran Torres. This year, they turned it into a tradition, with Pedri, Eric García, and Dani Olmo repeating the journey on Bicing machines on their way to the team party.
A hallmark of the current Barça side is the deep connection between the coaching staff, the players, and the fans. This was evident in how the Spotify Camp Nou crowd embraced Hansi Flick—who stood firm despite the painful loss of his father on the eve of the Clásico after defeating Real Madrid to secure the club’s 29th La Liga title. Fortunately, this year “Tiburón” Ferran Torres was in peak form—last year he was recovering from an appendectomy—and he was one of the key figures in the victory over Real Madrid. Still, the trio decided that a bike ride through Barcelona after clinching the title should become a tradition.
One notable absence was Iñigo Martínez. The Basque center-back has been missed by his former teammates, the coaching staff, and the fans—both for his footballing quality and his leadership on the pitch.
So, the trio was seen cycling as a tight group, greeting fans along the way—this time less surprised than on the first occasion—as they headed to the Boris Club, where the rest of the squad gathered to party late into the night.
