Robert Lewandowski’s future at Barcelona remains a topic of discussion, but the Polish striker has hinted at a potential departure after celebrating the club’s La Liga title victory.

Following Barcelona’s win over Real Madrid in the Clásico, Lewandowski celebrated the league title with his family. His gestures were closely watched for any signs of a farewell, but the forward remained measured. During the celebrations, he spoke to Polish television ‘Eleven Sports’ and left the door open to a move to MLS or another lower-tier league:
“There could be an option in a lower league. I’m almost 38, but I feel physically good, so I’m considering it. I have to take into account the possibility that it’s time to play and enjoy life. Maybe that option will come up, and I don’t rule it out.”
Lewandowski did not want to make anything definitive and made it clear that now that the league is won, he will seriously consider his future at Barcelona:
“What will I do in autumn? I don’t know. I just found out I have 51 days left on my contract, so there’s still time. I’ll listen to a few more offers and then decide,” he stated.
The Polish striker, who was on the bench during the Clásico, expressed pride in his achievements at the highest level:
“I’ve won a total of 14 championships, I’ve won them at every club, that impresses me a lot and I’m proud of it.”
Finally, he joked about recent comments from Wojciech Szczęsny, who advised him to retire and then consider serious offers:
“You know how Wojtek is: today he says one thing, tomorrow he’ll say another – he said with a laugh. It’s not like I wake up in the morning and something hurts. I appreciate where I am and I enjoy it. We’ll see what happens, but what’s clear is I’m going to keep playing.”
